Sarah has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Masters degree in Health Education & Promotion. Sarah has been a social worker for over a decade dedicating her career to mental and behavioral health.

Her work shares, explores, and unpacks how she was able to overcome severe behavioral challenges from childhood sexual abuse. Sarah’s work also showcases how she was able to cope with grief and loss in her 20’s from the unexpected death of her mother.

After years of being a patient in trauma therapy and utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment, Sarah experienced tangible changes in her symptoms. Over time the duration, frequency, and severity of her symptoms decreased.

Reprocessing multiple traumatic events through EMDR allowed her to change limiting subconscious beliefs, connect more deeply to her body, and feel her emotions in a way that felt expressive and safe.

Sarah became deeply passionate about educating others on the subconscious mind and how it relates to behavior change.

Sarah’s educational methods and guidance are rooted in trauma survivor advocacy to create a space for other survivors to feel supported as they embark on their own personal journal towards healing. Sarah’s style of teaching is taught from the patient perspective, which makes her work relatable, honest, and straightforward.

Sarah is passionate about providing balance to her clients and integrating research, science, and spirituality into her teachings.

Sarah is proud to have obtained educational training in the following areas:
Addressing Racial Trauma in Behavioral Health (2021)
Transgender and Gender Nonconforming (TGNC) individuals (2023)
Treatment of Trauma through the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine (2023)
